Katherine started volunteering at Oasis when she was 14 years old. Initially, it was about getting enough volunteer hours under her belt to meet high school requirements. But somewhere along the way, she fell in love with the place. Three years later Katherine still volunteers at Oasis, serving meals and infusing her youthful spirit. Oasis has made Katherine realize that working with seniors is her calling. She hopes to become a registered practical nurse one day.
